Fortis CEO Barry Perry spoke to the Detroit Economic Club on Wednedsay October, 4, 2017, and discussed energy industry developments.
In Perry’s address, he shared how the traditional role of a utilities has expanded and evolved to incorporate customer demand. He also mentioned Canada’s economic relationship with Michigan.
“Michigan counts Canada as its largest export market and a lot of people don’t realize that,” Perry said. “It’s the biggest border crossing in North America. In fact, 32 other states also count Canada as its largest export market.”
