Jill Garvey, CPA, CFP®

Jill Garvey is the senior vice president and senior wealth strategist for Huntington Private Bank®, where she provides thought leadership and strategic direction in the areas of business succession and estate and wealth transfer planning.
Before joining Huntington in 2018, Jill was regional director of wealth planning at Comerica Bank for 13 years. Additionally, she spent time at Merrill Lynch as an advisor in its private banking and investment group. Before that, she honed her tax skills at PricewaterhouseCoopers and her father’s CPA firm.
In addition to working directly with clients, Jill is passionate about financial education and regularly addresses planning topics through speaking engagements and written commentaries.
A proponent of educating and promoting women to achieve their potential, she successfully led the Women’s Initiative while at Comerica Bank. She also is the past chair of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants Financial Planning Task Force.
Jill received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University. She is a CPA and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner.
