About This Meeting
At the 22nd Annual Detroit Lions Kickoff Lunch held yesterday, new head coach Matt Patricia reflected on training camp and where he thinks the team is heading this season.
“I think the guys have really tried to improve,” said Patricia. “I think they’ve come out with a great attitude every single day. We’ve learned a lot as a team. The work ethic that these guys have put together has been great.”
Wide Receiver Marvin Jones Jr. touched on how the new culture will lead to a more successful season.
“It’s all about the work,” said Jones. “I go in and do what I have to do to be a better person, to be a better athlete on the field, and to be a better teammate. That’s what we all do. This is a new year, so we have to reinvent ourselves and reinvent the culture that we want and to succeed.”
