About This Meeting
The Detroit Tigers visited the Detroit Economic Club last Friday, May 25th, 2018 and covered a wide range of topics including the 2018 season thus far. Ron Gardenhire kicked off the meeting by discussing his new role as Tigers manager.
In a special players-only roundtable led by Right Fielder Nick Castellanos, the players talked about this transition season and how they hope to prove themselves to Tigers fans.
“I think the season so far has been good,” said Pitcher Shane Greene. “A lot of people had some pretty bad expectations for us and we have proven some people wrong, but we have some more people we need to prove wrong.”
