Session: Build & Lead Accountable Teams
Leaders are placed in a uniquely challenging position of being accountable for both the performance and welfare of their teams. They must manage team dynamics, essentially ensuring that the interaction of individuals leads to collective optimum performance.
In a highly-interactive session, DEC members will learn:
- How to identify strong team leader skills
- How to provide guidance and advice so team members operate successfully
We will also discuss:
- Tactics on how to give feedback and hold team members accountable for their performance at both an individual and collective level
- The value of engagement in achieving the task
- The set of behaviors that enhance the commitment of each team member to achieve the team and organization’s goals
